I wish I was an ocean

This picture is truly beautiful.

The colors are gorgeous, especially. (Would you say they're muted?) The way the sky gets bluer the farther it gets from the shore is intriguing. Also, whereas some parts of the water are darker blue-green, others are more emerald green. The water is different in color and texture in every part of the picture, making the whole thing very asymmetrical and interesting.

The people(?) in the water and what appears to be a bird in the distance are a little to far away to distinguish, and appear to be little more than specks. They disrupt the flow of the photo, for me (but that's just my opinion.)

I love the combination of the water and the buildings in the distance. They contrast each other beautifully. Another beautiful contrast is the bright clouds in the light-colored sky to their reflections in the dark, wet sand.

It's serene, yet full of motion. Absolutely fabulous.
